As a family of 3 (2 adults and 16 year old) and we stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment. The apartment itself was a little tired in places but it was clean and generously sized though the kitchen area did feel a little cramped. This was fine for us as we ate out every night the week we were there. The balcony was quite small in comparison but it was ok. The wifi was excellent and there were air conditioning units in the main area and both bedrooms. Small bathroom but functional. We were informed (via Jet2) that they only clean the rooms upon request and this service is chargeable so I opted to just take some anti bac wipes and keep it clean myself. The towels were changed every day, plenty of loo roll and the bins were also emptied which were the main things. The pool area is lovely and there isn't the mad rush to reserve, though we opted to sit down by the sea as far cooler and much nicer. You can get a clean pool towel every day (and take this with you to the beach) so this is a really welcome service and free as long as you return your pool card at the end of the stay. Yes, there are lots of steps but unless you are really restricted in mobility, they were fine. Sunbed hire by the sea is 6 euro's per bed, per day - pretty reasonable (you just pay the life guard who will come round at some point) - would recommend, the rocks aren't always that comfy unless you are able to take something to lay on other than a towel. The other thing to mention, the best restaurant we found was the one at the far end of the beach (if you were to look towards Porec) - the one near the cafe bar didn't take card so just make sure you have lots of euro's with you as some places prefer cash. The shops on site are well stocked - there are 2, a slightly bigger Lito at the bottom of the hill nearer the sea. Very expensive, but its convenient and if you just need basic bits, then its absolutely fine. If you've hired a car, then of course it would make sense to find a bigger supermarket. We didn't take the mini train into Porec but opted to walk instead as it was a really, really beautiful walk along the sea front into the town - about 1.2miles. Good for the old step count ;) Porec itself is beautiful especially the old town - gorgeous little streets, lots of shops, good food with lots and lots of choice. We loved it there and never got bored wandering around of an evening. Thoroughly recommend 'Niki's' pasta restaurant tucked away in one of the little courtyards - best home made pasta I've ever had. Gutted we found it on the last night as we would've gone more than once! We took a ferry trip (pre-booked directly with Direct Ferries) to Venice for the day which is very efficiently run by Kompas and easy to locate in Porec harbour. Pleasant 3 hour crossing and plenty of time in Venice. They do sell you additional guided tours but we decided to explore the city ourselves but we did opt for the water taxi back to the ferry but felt in hindsight, this was a bit expensive but by that point, we were walked out and grateful to just get back and collapse on the boat. One thing to note, they don't take card for anything on the boat due to the lack of phone service so take plenty of cash! Cannot fault the Kompas staff - knowledgable, friendly and helpful. This is a great base for a week (or longer) in Porec. Yes, its typical rustic Croatia but having visited various part of the country before, we were not disappointed. The aircon - works great and had the best nights sleep as it was so cool and dark in the room. it was perfectly fine for us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony, or for the teens to flop about the place before heading out or after a bunch of time in the pool. POOL : The pool is brilliant, nice and fresh, clean tidy, well looked after - kids loved it and it was a great relaxed family atmosphere. I didn't seen any mold or missing tiles, its was perfectly lovely. There is a big pool and little paddling pool. When you arrive you get a towel card so you get nice fresh towels by the pool which was great! ONSITE RESTAURANT: The restaurant by the pool is great - the chap that served us our drinks and food each time we popped in was SO friendly and smiley and happy and made us so welcome. The food was spot on, served nicely and we all enjoyed capri salad, pizza and icecream together. Breakfast there was great and prices were fine for us, very reasonable. LOCATION: There are a lot of steps to the apartments - yes there are steps but its on a bit of a hill so how else do you expect to get up and down - it wasn't an issue for us at all and my son loves to moan about stuff like that but never said a peep as he was having a nice holiday. We found the location great and it is literally right next to the sea! POREC: - so for us with a 15 year old and 13 year old they were happy to stroll along the flat coast path to Porec most days and walk back on an evening - it was quite exciting for them to see the little bars on the coast. It takes about 40 mins just strolling not rushing and is mostly the in the shade. The land train uses the same path - no probs with that at all. Porec is great, loads of hustle and bustle, markets all along the harbour, loads of cafes and little restaurants and heaps of shops with touristy stuff in. Night time felt really safe and the waiters trying to get your custom are polite and not intrusive so its all very family friendly and relaxed and welcoming. TRAIN TO POREC: The land train is pretty cool, it stops outside the shop at the bottom of the hill and is inexpensive and quite nice if you want to get to Porec and it feels too hot to walk. Takes about 20 mins to chug along the same route that you can walk. The staff were polite and each morning they were all out and about tidying the grounds, watering plants and doing general maintenance. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

We had a great time in a beautiful, pacefull location. I recommend for the family trips.If you want more parties go to the city center. Also I would like to thank Fanni, who made my daughter week unforgettable. The kids club was quiet small, but full of warmth and kidness. My girl very liked the facepainting and mini disco. Every evening the children enjoyed the party and they really waiting for pepi. I liked the pool, it was clear and organized and every morning we had aqua fit. So much fun and after the hard exercise, my shoulders were sore the next day:)) The resort is beutiful, relaxing and very enjoyable. The only small bad thing was the bathroom is small. I already wanted to book our holiday for next year here! Thank you for the kind servise and we hope the next year the same animation team will be back.
Just back from a week in these lovely apartments we had a one bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and two balconies a sitting area with table and chairs and a well equipped kitchenette .The views were lovely we could just see the sea from ours 222 and surrounding woodland .There is a restaurant on site and a shop which opens 7am - 2.30 pm needed to be open longer as there isnt another unless you do the 20 minute walk into Porec to the Spar. We were half board plus so our meals were catered for and we were so glad we had a ten minute walk to the Mediteran hotel where we ate breakfast and evening meal food was so much more than we expected beef , pork , chicken ,lamb , turkey and fish lots of veg ,salad soup cake icecream etc,Unlimited wine ,beer or soft drinks during meal time real value for money .All in all we loved it here . Only two minuses one the steps to the apartments 120 to ours from the seafront better to keep to the road when going up secondly there is a little train in to Porec but no buses the bus station in Porec only had buses running infrequently ,

Night time felt really safe and the waiters trying to get your custom are polite and not intrusive so its all very family friendly and relaxed and welcoming. TRAIN TO POREC: The land train is pretty cool, it stops outside the shop at the bottom of the hill and is inexpensive and quite nice if you want to get to Porec and it feels too hot to walk. Takes about 20 mins to chug along the same route that you can walk. The staff were polite and each morning they were all out and about tidying the grounds, watering plants and doing general maintenance. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

We loved this place, its just superb - yes basic in terms of the accommodation but honestly for the cost of what we paid for our Jet2 holiday I thought the value for money was brilliant. ACCOMMODATION: All I want as family of 4 (2 teens included) is CLEAN accommodation - yep perfectly clean and fresh towels came every day and, more than enough towels for us all and bedsheets on one of the days. The apartment (e had a 2 bedroom apartment with sofa bed in the sitting room) was amongst the pine and olive trees, nice and quiet but enough hustle and bustle about the place for it to be interesting to sit out with a cold beer and enjoy the setting. The apartment itself is a little small but actually for us we didn't really care about that, we like to be out exploring more than sitting inside for a long time .The bathroom is tiny weeny and i had to be careful not to catch my toes on the door as its so close to the shower cubicle but again we all got on fine in there. The aircon - works great and had the best nights sleep as it was so cool and dark in the room. it was perfectly fine for us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony, or for the teens to flop about the place before heading out or after a bunch of time in the pool. POOL : The pool is brilliant, nice and fresh, clean tidy, well looked after - kids loved it and it was a great relaxed family atmosphere. I didn't seen any mold or missing tiles, its was perfectly lovely. There is a big pool and little paddling pool. When you arrive you get a towel card so you get nice fresh towels by the pool which was great! ONSITE RESTAURANT: The restaurant by the pool is great - the chap that served us our drinks and food each time we popped in was SO friendly and smiley and happy and made us so welcome. The food was spot on, served nicely and we all enjoyed capri salad, pizza and icecream together. Breakfast there was great and prices were fine for us, very reasonable. LOCATION: There are a lot of steps to the apartments - yes there are steps but its on a bit of a hill so how else do you expect to get up and down - it wasn't an issue for us at all and my son loves to moan about stuff like that but never said a peep as he was having a nice holiday. We found the location great and it is literally right next to the sea! POREC: - so for us with a 15 year old and 13 year old they were happy to stroll along the flat coast path to Porec most days and walk back on an evening - it was quite exciting for them to see the little bars on the coast. It takes about 40 mins just strolling not rushing and is mostly the in the shade. The land train uses the same path - no probs with that at all. Porec is great, loads of hustle and bustle, markets all along the harbour, loads of cafes and little restaurants and heaps of shops with touristy stuff in. Thank you for animation team. Especially for Dušan, Fanni and Ion. We really enjoyed all program, minidisco… Animators were approachable understanding, and friendly. They made us feel very welcome, and we felt really comfortable at the kids club

We had a great time in a beautiful, pacefull location. I recommend for the family trips.If you want more parties go to the city center. Also I would like to thank Fanni, who made my daughter week unforgettable. The kids club was quiet small, but full of warmth and kidness. My girl very liked the facepainting and mini disco. Every evening the children enjoyed the party and they really waiting for pepi. I liked the pool, it was clear and organized and every morning we had aqua fit. So much fun and after the hard exercise, my shoulders were sore the next day:)) The resort is beutiful, relaxing and very enjoyable. The only small bad thing was the bathroom is small. I already wanted to book our holiday for next year here! Thank you for the kind servise and we hope the next year the same animation team will be back.
