Polari Mobile Homes

Unfortunately, a very disappointing stay – serious problems and no adequate response from management We arrived at Maistra Camping Polari in Rovinj on 2 August 2026 and, unfortunately, our stay turned out to be full of problems that we would never have expected from a property of this standard. Already on the first night, the air conditioning was not working. It was only repaired the following day and, according to the information we received, the cause was an electrical fault or short circuit. Another issue was the lack of basic cleaning supplies in the mobile home. However, the most serious situation occurred after a few days, when we discovered bed bugs in the mattress. My wife was bitten numerous times. After we reported the problem, the mattress was replaced, but the way the entire situation was handled left a lot to be desired. Due to the possibility of the bed bugs spreading to our clothes and personal belongings, we were given one single laundry token by the property. One. We had to purchase all additional tokens at our own expense. It is difficult to consider this an adequate response to an insect infestation in the accommodation where we sleep. The most disappointing part, however, was our conversation with the management. When we reported the problem and stated that we expected compensation for the entire situation, the response essentially came down to the fact that we had received a laundry token. It was difficult to believe that, in the face of such a serious problem, this was considered an adequate solution. We also have serious doubts as to whether the problem was handled professionally. The mattress was simply removed, but we were not given any clear information about whether professional pest control had been carried out or what specific measures had been taken to rule out the presence of bed bugs in the rest of the mobile home. Furthermore, members of the cleaning staff told us that a similar case had allegedly occurred within the previous few months. If this is indeed true, we would have expected the management to have appropriate procedures and preventive measures in place. This is not about one minor inconvenience. First, the broken air conditioning, then the lack of basic supplies, followed by bed bugs and numerous bites – and finally, in our opinion, a very dismissive attitude from management towards the entire situation. We are tourists from Poland and, unfortunately, we also had the impression that the language barrier and our lack of knowledge of Croatian procedures were treated as our weakness, rather than us being offered normal and professional assistance in resolving the problem. The property itself and its location may be attractive, but the way we were treated in a situation concerning health and hygiene completely ruined our stay. We expected considerably more from a property of this standard

Great location with a ton of things to do with kids! The water park and pool areas were our absolute favorites! They’re included with the mobile home stay and I’ve never seen a bigger splash pad area in any hotel. The pool area is big, but definitely gets crowded in the summer. One thing that was surprising was that most of the lawn chairs and umbrellas have to be paid for ($7 per chair). Only the tan lawn chairs in the pool areas are free and they’re gone quickly, so plan on getting there right at 10am when they open. The beach access is rocky, bring water shoes. But there are essentially no waves so great for small kids and SUPs. They have other paid for activities like a trampoline park and an in the water play area, which have to be paid for ($13 for 30 min of play time), but there are tons of different free play grounds around the grounds. The whole area is huge, so plan on walking a lot or bringing bikes if you’re driving here. They have everything you could wish for here, including a supermarket, bakeries, fruit stands and a couple restaurants and ice cream stands etc. You don’t really need to leave the campground the entire stay, but if you do want to there’s a bus that leaves from the front of the reception area and goes into Rovinj for a small fee. A couple things to consider with your stay in the Mobile home, they do provide sheets and towels, a coffee maker and a water boiler, a dish towel, dish soap and a rag and toilet paper, but there are no beach or pool towels provided and no paper products like paper towels or napkins. There’s also no cleaning service although you can request new towels or sheets during your stay. We’ve had ants in our bathrooms and they were quick to respond, but the bug spray was just left at our front door. Air conditioning works great in the mobile homes! We had a mobile home right next to a pool which was great, except for a couple nights when people went late to the pool and were loud. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. Overall, would definitely recommend for families with kids! Rovinj is a beautiful town worth checking out as well!

We had 4 nights here in a 2-bed bungalow with cooking facilities. The site is huge and has pitches for mobile homes, tents, and a selection of accommodations. Uber from the airport costs about 55 euros, and from the site to nearby Rovinj costs 12 euros. There is a supermarket that sells the basics, including alcohol. There are also places to eat on-site if you don't want to cook. There are several outdoor pools with a cafe. The service at this cafe was quite slow, to say the least, but I only attended once. There is a bakery on-site, but we didn't use it. We noticed the toilet facilities were spotless despite the large number of people present. Be aware that there are lots of bikes and electric scooters whizzing around all the time, so stay alert. We had a great time, and Rovinji is a must-visit.

Really nice campsite!Huge site with great facilities . Except having no gym for that size site was hard to believe!! Kids loved the diving board and was hard to drag them to the beach. Rovinj was fab , getting the water taxi in was a nice option. The food in the burger bar was ok. We stayed in an airconditioned tent , did realize there was no sink or toilets. Maybe could have been highlighted a bit more in the discription. Would not have booked it if had known. Have stayed in similar fixed tents with toilets elsewhere. Kevin from Ireland

We had a fantastic stay — the mobile home was spotless, modern, and fully equipped. Great terrace, peaceful surroundings, and only minutes from the beach. The campsite has everything: pool, shops, restaurants, and lots of activities. Ideal for families or couples. Highly recommended!
