We've had a fantastic time at the Belvedere resort Vrsar .The weather wasnt the best but it didnt spoil our trip. The hotel location is stunning looking over on to the Adriatic views over to Italy & Slovenia .The staff friendly and attentive .The room was a good size, with a very comfy King size bed, plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom was a good size ,however we would have prefered a shower enclosure rather than a bath. Food, all fresh and a good selection however we did find the dining room noisy (might help with some soft furnishings) we mainly ate breakfast there . Vrsar is stunning ,a walk up to the main square its a bit of a trek but worth it ( or catch the land train ) .There are excellent pathways that follow the coast line and are worth checking out some great restaurants and beach bars . We also visited Porec & Rovinj ( going via speed boat ) both a must see. We found the whole area great value for eating & drinking especially out on the marina. As always would we return ...Yes without a doubt.

The location of the hotel apartment blocks is probably the best thing about this resort. Right on the sea front with stunning views. The restaurant gets extremely busy - and we were there early on in the season. I imagine it is a nightmare in high season. No entertainment in May and apparently the air con does not get activated until 1st June. Consequently our room was uncomfortably warm. Bathroom is very dated. No separate shower - it is an over the bath one. Beautiful pool area but again very crowded even early on in the season. Very little to do nearby.

Well maintained quiet resort in beautiful location, close to fishing harbour, marina and pretty old town. Lovely coastal sea walk surrounding resort. Generous, clean and fresh accommodation with sea views and stunning sunsets. Rooms cleaned daily. Self service restaurant with range of breakfast and evening meal options. Limited vegetarian menu with many dishes mis-labelled. Busy restaurant and sometimes difficult to find a free dining table in the evenings. During our stay there was no evening entertainment and morning half hour activity sessions on alternate mornings for first week only. Surprised by limited bus service the timetable effective from September from Vrsar to Porec ran at 7.20, 14.40 and 15.33 with return from Porec to Vrsar at 6.30, 14.20 and 15.20 costing 4.10 euros one way. No buses from Vrsar to Rovinj or Pula. No bus service at weekends. Alternative methods of transport included boat trips, taxis, bike/car hire or walking. A great place to relax and unwind.
