Valamar Collection Girandella Resort designed for Adults

Everything was ok but the staff at daycare/playroom is great! We had pleasure to meet Morena, Nina and Melita but each animator was exeptional! Very careful and dedicated/professional but caring with children.

We recently stayed at the Girandella Designed for Adults resort in Rabac and overall had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, although the area itself is extremely quiet with limited things to do. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very modern throughout. Our room was small but perfectly adequate, with a contemporary bathroom and a reasonable shower. The TV offered very few English channels (mostly news), and while tea and coffee facilities were provided, that was the only in‑room amenity. We received one bottle of water on arrival which was never replenished. Housekeeping was inconsistent during our stay — on one occasion all our used towels were taken and none were replaced, which required a call to reception to resolve. On other days we had to request fresh towels. The staff, however, were outstanding. Every member of the team was friendly, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival, both us and our luggage were transported by golf cart and shown around the adults‑only area, which was a lovely touch. The same service was provided on departure, making the whole experience feel smooth and well‑organised. The resort is built on a steep hillside overlooking the sea, offering stunning views, but the inclines can be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. One downside was that the adults‑only bar closes at 7pm, which felt very early, especially given the lack of evening options elsewhere in the resort. Prices within the resort were on the higher side, but bars and restaurants outside were very reasonably priced. Rabac itself is beautiful, calm, and extremely safe, but there isn’t much to see or do. There are no nightclubs or lively bars, and most places close around 9pm. It’s ideal if you want peace and quiet, but not if you’re looking for nightlife or entertainment. We did a dolphin‑spotting boat trip from the harbour which was peaceful and enjoyable, even though we didn’t see any dolphins. We ate at La Pentola on four of our five nights — by far the best restaurant in the area. Capitano Lounge Bar & Restaurant was a disappointing experience with limited menu choice if you don’t eat fish. During the day we mostly ate at Echo, which was good, and tried Pingo once, which was poor and cash‑only. I had to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM and was charged €4.50 for the withdrawal. We enjoyed ice cream at Marea along the harbour and had drinks most evenings at The Beat Bar, which was modern, friendly, and slightly pricey but still cheaper than the hotel. The resort offers multiple pools, table games, an adults‑only pool, and easy access to the sea for swimming. It’s a lovely place to unwind, but Rabac is very quiet overall with limited evening entertainment and not much variety. We genuinely enjoyed our stay, but having seen everything the area offers, we wouldn’t return — simply because there isn’t enough to justify a second visit. It’s perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break, but not for travellers seeking activities or nightlife.

Came with bed and breakfast with my partner in adults only. The location as a resort has everything you need from chill drinks at the pool to a lovely steakhouse. At breakfast and throughout the morning I was being served by the lovely Silvia and the amazing Mislav. Both were very polite and doing the upmost for me and my partner. The atmosphere is very calming with a beautiful view and great pool facilities. Rooms are incredibly well kept and smell amazing with a huge bed and great cool aircon. Value is great as price of drinks are very good and reasonable about 6£ a beer and 8£ for a cocktail. My only issue with the holiday is there not any supermarkets or local restaurants. If you like staying in the same place it’s perfect, as the resort is massive it funds your needs well. Once again huge thank you to Mislav and Silvia for being so great!

Everything was top! Location is stunning, sea is just amazing, so so clean. All the facilities are great, so many things for kids, teens and adults. Maro club rocks. Rooms are always clean and we'll ecquipt. Food is ready delicious. All inclusive offer is really recommended. Value 10/10
