Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

What can I say about Maya Ubud that hasn’t already been captured in all the positive reviews? Here’s my try: 1) I loved the pools especially the adults pool and I sincerely appreciate the staff keeping adults only by sending away families with young children. What an amazing experience. 2) my wife and I had an amazing cooking class experience. To be honest the food could have fed 4 people. But it was such a magical time. 3) amazing restaurant that serves an amazing breakfast spread and we loved the dinner too. Even the one meal we had in the cafe was done to an amazing standard. 4) free shuttle to ubud main town. But let’s be honest who even wants to leave? We also appreciated the hotels help in arranging an early morning car to the airport. Granted this is not the cheapest resort. But for the money it is a tremendous value

I stayed here for a week in a pool villa recently and absolutely loved everything about it. The resort is far away enough from Ubud to be lovely and peaceful but close enough that you can be in the middle of Ubud within 5-10 minutes on a bike. The jungle location is just stunning, the grounds are immaculate and my private pool villa was just perfect. Spacious and comfortable and I had monkeys running through my garden most days which was just magical. The food and drinks were great - the spa and treatments were lovely. I did use the two pools and again, just amazing. The staff cannot do enough for you and are so happy, polite and courteous. I stayed a week before moving to another amazing resort a bit further out but Maya was ,without a doubt, the favourite of the 5 hotels I stayed in while in Bali. Outstanding in every way and I would absolutely love to return. Book it, you won’t be disappointed.

A resort this magnificent, surrounded by a beautiful forest, feels like something you would only see in a movie or even imagine with AI. But being there in person and experiencing it was something completely different. 🌴✨ The resort is incredible — surrounded by nature, with two amazing infinity pools that make the whole experience even more magical. But honestly, the **main highlight for us was not the resort itself — it was the people.** ❤️ From the room attendants and reception team to the restaurant staff and bartenders, **everyone, absolutely everyone, was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming.** You could genuinely feel how much they appreciated having their guests there. Their kindness and warmth made us feel truly valued throughout our entire stay. And this is something we really want to emphasise: **without these amazing people, the Maya Ubud experience would simply not have been the same.** They are the heart of the resort and the reason our four nights became such a special and unforgettable memory. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people and to experience Maya Ubud Resort & Spa with them. 🌿❤️ Thank you to every single person who made our stay so special.
