Puri Bagus Candidasa

We had a wonderful stay at Puri Bagus Candidasa Dive Resort & Yoga Retreat. We were visiting for business, but the team’s exceptional service made it easy to relax and feel at home whenever we returned to the resort. A special thank you to Sabawanti and Ayu at reception, who were so sweet and professional and made check-in and check-out smooth for our whole party. One evening, after we arrived late from business, Pool Restaurant Manager Made kindly prepared everything so we could still enjoy dinner. The food was exquisite, and we really appreciated the thoughtful service. At breakfast, Defi was consistently warm and attentive, making sure everyone in our party had what they needed each morning. Housekeeping Attendant Ian also did a lovely job keeping our room clean and surprising us with cute towel animals each night. Every one of them was so kind, and their care made our stay especially memorable. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back!

We’ve just completed our second stay at Puri Bagus and we’re already talking about returning next year. This resort really is what a holiday in Bali is all about - the friendly and caring staff, the beautiful location, the peaceful garden setting - Puri Bagus really has it all. This hotel is set next to the beach but unfortunately there is construction work occurring all along the beach front. When we arrived it was very noisy. The staff were lovely and bent over backwards to try and help. The rooms are large and set into groups of 4 but you do look onto each other.

🌴 A Beautiful Seaside Escape in Candidasa — Puri Bagus Hotel at Its Best! 🌊 We had a fantastic stay at Puri Bagus Hotel Candidasa, beautifully located right on the sea. The position is hard to beat, with stunning ocean views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The bungalows are beautiful, modern, new and very well maintained. A particular highlight is the open-ceiling shower — such a fantastic experience, especially surrounded by the tropical gardens. 🌿 The staff are absolutely fantastic. A special mention to our room attendant, Suparthawa, who was amazing and always made sure our room was spotless and that we had plenty of fresh towels. Many thanks for the excellent care! There is a lovely bar right by the sea, perfect for a drink while enjoying the views, and the pool overlooking the ocean is a great place to relax. Breakfast was very tasty, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. Another major plus is the in-house dive center, with some excellent dive sites nearby — perfect for anyone wanting to combine a relaxing hotel stay with great diving. 🤿 The location is also very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby, while the hotel itself remains peaceful and relaxing. There is also the possibility to arrange many different activities and experiences, making it easy to plan your stay. Overall, an excellent choice for both couples and families, offering beautiful accommodation, fantastic staff, great facilities, and a superb seaside location. Highly recommended — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Candidasa! 🌴🌊

It is honestly difficult to put into words how wonderful our stay at Puri Bagus Candidasa was and how incredibly welcome and cared for we felt here. This trip through Bali was a special birthday gift for my son, and from the very first moment the team made our stay unforgettable. When we arrived, they surprised him with a birthday cake and everyone sang for him. It was such a warm and genuine welcome – and somehow that first moment describes our entire stay. It really felt like coming home to family. What touched us most was how much everyone genuinely cared. When my son wasn’t feeling well, the wonderful ladies at reception immediately tried to help. One of them even prepared a traditional Balinese remedy for him herself, and several members of the team tried to contact doctors and find out where we could get a particular medical test. And it didn’t stop there. One of the lovely ladies in the restaurant prepared a special tea for his sore throat and continued making it for him throughout our stay. These may sound like small things, but when you’re travelling far from home and your child isn’t feeling well, this kind of genuine care means more than you can describe. That warmth can be felt everywhere in this hotel. The people in the restaurant, at reception and throughout the resort are incredibly kind and attentive. After a very short time, we didn’t feel like hotel guests anymore. We felt like we were being looked after by family. The resort itself is an oasis. The lush tropical garden is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and lovingly maintained. Our room was wonderful, everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It is one of those places where you immediately slow down and relax. The breakfast was excellent as well, with a great selection and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We also ate at the restaurant several times and really enjoyed the food. Combined with the lovely people working there, every meal was something we looked forward to. There are currently some construction works along the beach in this area, but these are not part of the hotel. For us, they hardly affected our stay at all – we honestly barely noticed them. Candidasa itself wasn’t necessarily our favourite town in Bali, but this peaceful corner where Puri Bagus is located was something completely different. Surrounded by tropical greenery and away from everything, it felt like our own little oasis. We stayed in several beautiful places while travelling around Bali, but Puri Bagus was without question one of our most special stays. Not because of luxury or any single feature, but because of something much harder to find: the feeling this place and its people gave us. We cannot describe how comfortable, cared for and genuinely happy we felt here. Leaving really felt a little bit like saying goodbye to family Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire Puri Bagus team. You made this part of our journey and my son’s birthday trip something we will always remember. ❤️ We would come back in a heartbeat.
