Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali

I really like my stay here. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to a river and the serenity of its surroundings, which I really like during my last trip three years ago. I could tell that the room had been renovated. The breakfast is one of the highlights here, with almost every food you would expect in a Balinese breakfast, plus special dishes everyday. You don't need to wait in a queue for omelettes, noodle soups or crepes because the staff always delivers the food you ordered. I think what most impressed me during my stay is from the service of the hotel. To start with, I would like to thank DIAH, who provided info & instructions on my daily activities, SUMIARSA, who guided me on a bike tour to the hotel's neighboring villages, and MEGAN, who showed me the local morning market and taught me how to make canang sari. I also appreciate Prandita and Nanda's timely housekeeping everyday and assistance by many others whose name I regretfully could not memorize. Another highlight of the hotel is its complimentary activities. I took a bicycle tour, a morning market tour and a canang sari class. These activities gave me a chance to know the lives and culture of the local people, who are always friendly and optimistic. In all, it was a perfect time staying here. I definitely would like to revisit this hotel for another longer stay.

A wonderful hotel with incredibly friendly and attentive staff who provide service of the highest standard. The food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfasts were very varied, with high-quality ingredients. The rooms were well-equipped and cleaned thoroughly every day. The entire staff was always kind, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely remember our stay fondly for a long time. We sincerely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.

My experience at Sthala was a beautiful one. Beautiful place, beautiful room, beautiful people and wonderful service. The rooms and common areas were always clean. Great breakfast every morning, great atmosphere at the rooftop bar, and a refreshing pool. The location is very quiet and relaxing. For everything that was provided, it was a great value.
