Apartamentos Rio Piedras

Great apartments, very clean, fantastic balcony with great views. Roof top pool area is excellent with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and parasols. The room was pretty much as expected, spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower area is the only negative as this is in need of some modernisation and there are cracked, broken wall and floor times. The waste water system isn’t great and takes a long time to drain away, despite us reporting to reception. The room was very warm on arrival around 10.30pm and unfortunately the air conditioning unit (in bedroom) for our apartment was working correctly so our first night was rather uncomfortable and we had to rely on the tall portable fan found in the lounge. The air conditioning unit was repaired the following day and we had comfortable sleeping conditions for the remainder of our holiday. Would suggest to the management that rooms are cooled for guests on arrival and a/c units are checked for effectiveness on changeover periods. All reception staff were polite, professional and helpful, Also rooftop restaurant is great and we ate here four times during our stay, excellent food and service, with nice entertainment and cracking views. The apartments are lovely and clean, has everything you need. Diel (not sure how to spell his name) on reception is just lovely. AC in the rooms, towels and all the basics. The showers are amazing!! Was able to get loungers at the pool no bother any time of day . The pool is great… not heavy on the chemicals so you can swim all day without stingy eyes!!! The pool side bar is fab the food is basic but nicely done and reasonable. Apartments are best placed for access to the main strip and the beach. Would def return. A good mix of adults, couples and families. Really chilled relaxed atmosphere.great well stocked mini market next door. The main strip is great for families and couples, fantastic offering of food and shops, great atmosphere. The area is spotless. Cannot fault it at all.

My wife and I and our friends (couple) booked via TUI to these self contained apartments 25/06 - 9/07 2026. we arrived about 21.15 and was greeted by a pleasant and amusing man on reception. He quickly booked us in to rooms 807 and 808 serviced by a lift to the 7th floor. On entering our apartment, 807, we quickly sorted out the free included safe and also the included air conditioning unit. There was also a vertical fan unit in the property. The room was found to be clean and well stocked ie towels etc. The apartments both had incredible sea views from the spacious balcony supplied with 2 sunbeds and a table and two chairs. Both properties had a problem with the aircon not working on the 2nd day however the man on reception came up and sorted it quickly, a tripped exterior switch. the Rio Piedras is about 10 minutes to the beach and harbour wall situated on the flat road to the front of Puerto Rico, and about 15 minute walk to the shop and bar centre. The complex has a recently renovated roof pool and infinity pool with a bar restaurant and again all staff friendly and helpful. 15.00 - 17.00 is also "happy hour " with 2 for 1 on offer. The pool also has a sloping entrance with hand rail for anybody with mobility problems. A lift from 7 - 10 aids access. We would deffinetely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation very clean and well furnished. Across the road from the beach, two supermarkets writhin a short walking distance less than 5 mins away The apartment was cleaned daily, the kitchen was adequately equipped with everything you need Spacious balcony, the rooftop swimming pool is very clean with lots of deck chairs and umbrellas All staff at the apartment are very helpful and friendly from the housekeeper to reception staff and staff in the rooftop restaurant I stayed in apartment 204

Whilst the rooms were spacious and comfortable, they weren’t cleaned to the highest standard The bathroom and kitchen were very tired and needed some TLC, however it would not stop us from returning, the apartments were well situated and most of the staff were very friendly One of the highlights is the rooftop pool area, plenty of sunbeds and a nice pool with bar area, however unfortunately they do not have a designated smoking area which meant having to put up with people smoking on the rooftop sunbathing area Would recommend for anyone on a strict budget
