We went for 10 nights, stayed in a 2 bed family suite, self catering, flying from Belfast. My children are 3 and 6 and we loved how we were placed near to the children’s splash pools. There were enough loungers (go early for umbrellas) and the bigger pool at the other side of the resort was where the bigger kids would hang out - keeping the splash pool area safer for little children like ours. We paid for lunch at the Family & Hoy restaurant one day (buffet) and this was good (€19 per adult and €8.50 / child) although drinks were not included. There was so much for us to do in the local area and taxis are state-controlled so a really affordable way of getting around. Taxi to Playes de Ingles beachfront is recommended - restaurants here are super and local people sell things and offer hair braids. All good holiday fun. We enjoyed the market on Weds / Sat as well. Downsides were the appearance of a cockroach on two occasions if you left the door open too long at night. The hotel provided us with spray to keep them away which worked well. This is just a part of travelling to Gran Canaria and not a reflection on the hotel. Pool games for kids were super fun and the spa offered kids services too which I enjoyed taking my son along to. The spa was generally excellent. Check out is 12 which is great and then there are showers people can use near the spa which worked well for us. Supermarkets nearby for buying supplies and lots of entertainment locally such as holiday world, Sioux City, Aquapark and in Peuto Rico, Angry Birds Land - all of which we enjoyed with our kids. Highly recommend for families.

Great hotel, the daytime entertainment was great the kids had a brilliant time! Special mention to Fabio and all of the entertainment team! The bungalows were clean and spacious. Good selection of food for the all inclusive and drinks also!
Having a lovely time at HD Parque Cristóbal, The entertainment team especially Fabio are very good and keeping everyone entertained.
