Hotel LIVVO Valle Taurito

I really cannot understand the poor reviews for this hotel break. Taking into consideration the star rating and value for money, this hotel stay was a 10/10. To those who have left a poor review (clearly using 4–5 star hotels as a comparison), I have no words... you severely lack basic comprehension and intellect. We booked a cheap, last-minute holiday and were surprised by the excellent value for money. Overall, the quality of cleanliness was good in all public and private areas. The maintenance guy was always around the pool, and the cleaners came to the room every day with fresh towels, made the beds, and swept up. The toilets were clean and always had toilet roll, and the tables were consistently cleaned. The staff were pleasant. The beds were extremely comfy and the room was a decent size with plenty of cupboards; the balcony was also a great size. The only downfall was that there was only one pillow on the bed, but I always take mine from home (you may be able to ask for another, who knows!). The pool was adequate and clean with plenty of beds. The water park was a bloody brilliant, added free bonus—and for a 3-star, that is fantastic! Okay, the downside to the water park was that it is salt water! Guess what? We took and bought goggles, and hey presto—the water did not sting our eyes when we reached the bottom of the slides. It is a bloody free bonus to your 3-star stay, so stop moaning! Apart from the saltwater, this is a fantastic water park... amazing slides, clean, tidy, and great fun!!! We also got free use of the gym in the spa hotel over the road, and a free session in the spa which was fantastic!! The food was bloody lovely: lots of choice from meat to fish, freshly cooked pasta and rice, chips, the usual fresh pizza (which is fab), burgers, and many other dishes. Okay, the desserts were a little hit-and-miss, but you always had ice cream. As an alternative to the mousse-style cakes, the more substantial sponge and apple crumble-type cakes were lovely, just not on every night (you can't have everything, come on!). And yes, they did provide paper cups, which I overheard somebody complaining about. Again, this is a 3-star all-inclusive! At least they were large paper cups and not those fly-away plastic things!! They use proper crockery in the restaurant. The self-service beverages on tap were great, so there were ZERO queues. Guess what? They had wonderful decaf coffee in the machine which was excellent with gorgeous hot milk, so I had decaf lattes all holiday! (I stayed in a 4-star last year with no decaf, so I had to buy my own granules). The entertainment wasn't great but consistent every night and pleasent themes and usual kids disco (All miming), and two bar areas are available—with and without the entertainment. Personally, we like to eat late and take a mooch about! This is not a massive area, just a few hotels in a mountain cove with shops and entertainment in the middle, so it is quite quiet with no nightlife. I LOVE THIS personally!! You can catch a bus to the more built-up areas, which makes for a wonderful day out (WE went to the sand dunes and had a lovely day). Personally, this secluded tourist area felt much safer to me with teenage girls... no lucky-lucky men or dodgy people selling items on the street! a couple of bars on the beach front with sports and karioke so no one misses out. Amazing value for money! Thank you guys for a great holiday...

The hotel was clean, our room was made up every day. Reception staff was excellent, very helpful. Restaurant staff was amazing as well. Food was delicious. Aquapark was great organised and the sea water was very well maintained. I highly recommended this hotel and aquapark.Downside is the family rooms are a bit small for family of 4. Another great thing is the bus stop is nearby, so we went several times to nearby beaches and towns. The hotel was quite. The entailment was none what so ever. They were quite noisy during the day rehearsing for the night, which is not acceptable. Overall, it was a great holiday and we're thinking of going back. Room view was with sea view, which was a bonus.

A very beautiful, clean and budget-friendly hotel with large, comfortable rooms. We would say this hotel is more suitable for families with older children, as the water park is mainly designed for adults. Be prepared for the water in the water park to be very salty! We highly recommend bringing goggles if you want to swim comfortably, as well as swimming shoes. The restaurant can also be a bit of a “first come, first served” situation. If you arrive later, some food options may no longer be available. We had to look around for something to eat on a couple of occasions. There isn’t much to do around the hotel, so we would recommend rent a car and explore the beautiful coastal spots nearby.

We went as a family of 9 5 adults, 4 children! Very disappointing stay — would not recommend Nothing near the hotel you need to get bus or cab, buses are air conditioned so was nice (didn’t look beforehand) We paid extra for a family room but weren’t given one. We also had cockroaches running out from under the bed and leaking air-conditioning. There wasn’t even a bin in the room. Tv was about 10inch screen couldn’t see from the bed! There’s no kettle provided either. If you want one, you have to pay a £10 deposit plus £2.50 per day, which feels ridiculous. Not sure how this is a 4 star would say it’s a 2or 3! Reception seemed seriously understaffed, with only one person working and waits of at least half an hour to speak to someone. The poor man on the night shift looked exhausted. There was also only one person serving at each bar, so there were constantly big queues. Anyone can walk into the hotel as there’s not much security! The room keys kept deactivating. We were told this happens if they’re near your phone, so simply keeping them in a bag or pocket meant repeated trips back to reception. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. The pool is miles too small for the size of the hotel, couldn’t imagine how busy it would be in half term!! Pool rules were frustrating and confusing. The shop sold us a floaty and told us it was allowed in our pool, only for the lifeguard to say we couldn’t use it. There were no ashtrays that we could find, and cigarette butts were scattered absolutely everywhere. The cocktails were pre-made and tasted like water. The food is nothing to shout about had chips and salad if I went in the restaurant but we ate out most days don’t know why they can’t have decent sausages and bacon when the beach bar nearby do There was entertainment for very young children (workers doing disney scenes), but no adult entertainment during our stay, Which was 31st August-10Sept and there weren’t enough seats at the entertainment area either. The beach being about a five-minute walk away was a positive, but it didn’t make up for all the problems. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we wouldn’t return.

went as a family of 7, 5 adults & 1 child & 1 infant, we had 3 rooms, all inclusive for 7 nights. we booked double rooms but all rooms were single beds. Hotel is very dated, rooms basic - cleaning very poor minimal done. day passes are given to the locals - I am no prude but don't think its appropriate at a family hotel to women to be in the swimming pool topless pool area- while we was there towels where left on sun loungers for 4 days before they was removed. life guard spent most of his time on his phone or chatting with work man. flooring around the pool was dirty & grimy - never cleaned in the 7 days we was there. water park was very basic and salt water, paid £13 per adult & £8 per child for all inclusive - not worth it food/drinks again very poor, if someone paid for the food they got better quality. Food & drink- the all inclusive drinks limited & watered down, cocktails pre made and did not seem to have any alcohol in them. pool snacks were very poor & basic hamburgers & hotdogs with stale bread, cakes very dry. buffet restaurant caters for other nationalities & not British & very repetitive - food not served hot even when brought out fresh ( choice very limited ), guests at sister hotel which is 3 star had better food options than Livvo Valle Taurito. entertainment - is off the hotel ground held at sister hotel but very poor
