Riu Palace Palmeras

Hotel excellent. Food has gone down a little needs to come back up to improve restaurant. Very friendly staff and Manager, loved our stay with you all. Hoping to be back next year.

This is a fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Absolutely wonderful staff giving the best service. Can't say more other than we'll be delighted to come back.

We love Riu hotels and were not disappointed. Beautiful hotel, very clean, lovely friendly staff across all areas. Really comfy bed No problem finding sunbeds at any time of the day. Lovely pools. Great food. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel! This was our first time staying and we have absolutely fallen in love with the hotel. Everything has been perfect since we arrived; rooms are spotless and very spacious and comfortable, food is excellent quality plus the option to dine at the a la carte Krystal restaurant was lovely, not a single day did we ever have to worry about getting a sunbed plus they have permanent shade covers on several sections as well so you will never have to worry about racing for a umbrella either. Drinks were fantastic as well and it was such a lovely touch that the evening service is fully table service so you do feel you are getting a more premium experience. Location is ideal as well, literally less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and the yumbo centre for evenings out. The Riu party takes place every Friday night at the larger Riu resort which they provide coaches to and from - when we saw the other resort we definitely felt like we were already in the best on the island!! The Palmares is definitely smaller than the other more 'grand' Riu hotels but that is it's biggest benefit for sure... You feel looked after and the service is so much personal, as it is a smaller resort as well the staff take so much more care and effort maintaining the public areas and it definitely showed when we went to the other Riu hotel. I've seen a few people complaining it's not family friendly or the age range is too old but they clearly didn't read any reviews beforehand. It's quieter, calmer and the perfect hotel for a completely relaxed get away... To all the waiters, bar staff, housekeeping and reception.. Thank you for a FABULOUS holiday!!!

We have just returned from our third stay at Riu Palace Palmeras. Put simply, the staff are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay "as you like it". The facilities are excellent, the entire hotel complex is spotlessly clean, the food is well cooked and of sufficient verity. We will book again.
